Channel One

Channel One is based in London and is one of Europe's most respected Roots and Culture Reggae Sound Systems. The unique experience of Channel One is a real, thrumming, bass heavy dub funneled through their own custom built 14k sound system, accompanied by foot stomping percussions and a multitude of manic sound effects. Selector Ras Mikey and Ras Kaleb together work the crowd with their own individual style, the response to a Channel One session is incredible - the session can go from anything between 2 hours to a marathon 9-10 hours!! The rhythms and tougher then tough bass vibrations have been perfected over the years - specializing in dances on a regular basis at universities, colleges and clubs, not only in London and the UK, but also in Ireland, Germany, France, Norway & Italy.
